To use CUBE JAM select "OK" when the "CUBE JAM Would Like to Access the Microphone" pop-up message appears when you first launch the App. In case you select "Dont Allow", setting can be changed from [Settings] -> [Privacy] -> [Microphone] -> [CUBE JAM].

CUBE JAM app turns your iOS device into a fun command center for jamming, recording, and learning.
Play back commercial songs and minus-one tracks through the CUBE guitar amplifier and riff along for hours. CUBE JAM also records audio through audio interface, allowing you to easily capture your jams. After youre done recording, you can adjust the volume of your play or vocal and backing music independently, then export your mix to a 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV file.
The app also includes great tools for music practice, including independent speed and pitch adjustment of audio playback, Center Cancel to remove solos and create your own jam tracks.
* Songs with DRM (Digital Rights Management) cannot be loaded. Songs upgraded to iTunes Plus can be loaded.
* The Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter is required for iOS devices which are not equipped with a 3.5-mm headphone jack.

In Roland pianos theres a fancy little plug where it allows you to hook up your device. Is there any apps or something that will work with it to write music from your piano? Whats it for?
Hard to fathom.
Totally lame,wont let me upload my songs. Acts like it does and then just goes back to demo songs. Also wish they put a looper on here like the 80xl had built in. At the least,they could add it to the CUBE JAM! The CUBE JAM was a big reason why I bought the amp,only to realize it was a cheap app that dont work
Roland-please fix this joker app. It is not recording well and it doesnt center cancel anything except the demo tracks. I cant believe Roland allowed this..such a quality amps with this to be an alternative for a looper?? It is nothing more than an aux in for me. Tried to record to GarageBand with it with the cable from my electric and it picks up noises and you cannot monitor the sound from the app. I would be mad to even pay 1 cent for it, because even for free-all it was is a waste of time.
Issue with the audio, I dont know if its just my phone or what, but the sound comes out of my call speaker. Not my bottom speaker.My drum teacher recommended this app for me so I can slow down songs and so on so distinct out certain beats which it is excellent for. If you guys fix the speaker issue or theres a way I can get around it Ill deffiently rate 5 stars
